ROMANS 12:20 ON THE CONTRARY: “IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM; IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM SOMETHING TO DRINK: IN DOING THIS, YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD.” Yesterday, a gentleman walked into my office with tears in his eyes. He was accused of leaking some vital information about the illegal […]
MATTHEW 6:13 As I wrote yesterday, we are in troubling times, moral horrors, perversity and spiritual wickedness. Satan’s personality keeps changing by day. Evil men are so violent, so unjust, without mercy and filled with poisonous ideas. They are so blood-thirsty that, everybody is outraged, seeking vengeance, instead of praying whilst the security agencies work. […]
MATTHEW 6:13 “AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL”. Our country has been filled with events and situations, creating an atmosphere of great fear, anxiety and mistrust amongst people. Kidnappings, mysterious disappearances, mysterious deaths, armed robberies, ponzi financial schemes etc. When such devilish acts are committed on daily basis, it is […]
Liberty Breakfast with Luke Barson (Rev) Suspicion or Discernment? EXODUS 3:3 “SO MOSES THOUGHT; I WILL GO OVER AND SEE THIS STRANGE SIGHT-WHY THE BUSH DOES NOT BURN UP”. Discernment is very important for every believer. It is so important that, our Lord Jesus Christ made it one of the gifts of the Spirit. While […]
2 TIMOTHY 2:2 “AND THE THINGS YOU HAVE HEARD ME SAY IN THE PRESENCE OF MANY WITNESSES, ENTRUST TO RELIABLE PEOPLE WHO WILL ALSO BE QUALIFIED TO TEACH OTHERS” Everybody will be remembered for one thing or the other. Whilst others will be remembered for their good works, some will be remembered for the problems […]
PSALM 62:1 Many people in Ghana, are being held captive not by spiritual entities, but a few greedy gun welding insensitive young men and women. The church as well, is being manipulated, not because of the enemy’s power, but because many believers do not clearly understand their authority in Christ. “Rooted and built up in […]
PSALM 61:2 “FROM THE ENDS OF THE EARTH I CALL TO YOU, I CALL AS MY HEART FAINT; LEAD ME TO THE ROCK THAT IS HIGHER THAN I”. I was at the main harbour a few days ago, though not for the first time. I have been there several times, but this particular visit kept […]
GENESIS 39:7-10 In my line of duty, I have come across many genuine people, especially leaders who are always forthright. I have also come across people, who out of envy and vaulting ambition will lie about you irrespective of the consequences. I have met a lot of disciplinary committees, and also sat in many of […]
GENESIS 39:7-10 “Now JOSEPH WAS WELL AND HANDSOME, AND AFTER AWHILE HIS MASTER’S WIFE TOOK NOTICE OF JOSEPH AND SAID “COME TO BED WITH ME”. BUT HE REFUSED….” Everybody in life faces moments in which they come under severe attack. A moment where trusted people tell half-truths about you. You are lied about, looked down […]
1PETER 4:1 Nobody enjoys testing moments in life, especially those that are deliberately orchestrated by loved ones and executed by our enemies. Like storms of life, they usually appear at our blind side; without warning, they leave behind a trail of destruction and perpetual scars and dark memories in our lives. Imagine being slapped with […]
1 PETER 4:1 “THEREFORE, SINCE CHRIST SUFFERED IN HIS BODY, ARM YOURSELVES ALSO WITH THE SAME ATTITUDE, BECAUSE WHOEVER SUFFERS IN THE BODY IS DONE WITH SIN”. The world has succeeded in planting in the hearts of Christians a “me- centred culture”, a brand of comfortable Christianity that is becoming a hindrance to so many […]
DANIEL 6:4 “THEN THE COMMISSIONERS AND SATRAPS BEGAN TRYING TO FIND A GROUND OF ACCUSATION AGAINST DANIEL IN REGARD TO GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS; BUT THEY COULD FIND NO GROUND OF ACCUSATION OR EVIDENCE OF CORRUPTION, IN AS MUCH AS HE WAS FAITHFUL…” One great thing that distinguishes successful people from ordinary and unsuccessful people is their […]
