Senior Pastor at Liberty House Christian Center in Tema Community 22, Rev. Prophet Luke Barson has condemned politicians in the country for playing the equalization game with murders in the country.

According to him, it is needless and infantile for such comparisons as to which regime superintended over many killings than the other.

Prophet Luke Barson is at a loss that such heinous crimes as murder has turned into a tool for political propaganda with which political parties want to gain capital and traction.

Describing such acts as immature and insensitive which doesn’t guarantee the safety and security of the vulnerable and weak in society, Prophet Luke Barson called for an immediate stop to the practice.

He wrote on his Facebook Page ‘’can our politicians stop this needless comparison of how many people were killed under whose watch or regime? Such comparisons are a mark of insensitivity and immaturity. Whilst we (Ghanaians) are looking for leaders who will give us a sense of hope and confidence, politicians are playing political chess game with our emotions. How do such comparisons give the weak and vulnerable a sense of security, hope and confidence?’’.
