The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) are due to recruit some 7, 730 youth across the country under the YEA School Support Programme.
To this end, the two organisations yesterday, Monday, October 21, 2019 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which marks the official commencement of the programme.
The lucky youth who will be recruited into the Schools Support Programme will be trained and deployed to the various Senior High Schools across the country.
They will be posted to occupy employment opportunities as school guards and security assistants, kitchen assistants and pantry assistants.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency, Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong and the Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa initialed the document for their respective organisations.
Prospective applicants have been advised to look out for adverts on the placement of these job opportunities from Thursday, 24th October 2019.
