Matthew 24: 24
“For false messiahs and false teachers will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, even the elect (Believer)
Dear reader,
Kindly permit me to write you a letter today about what is happening in our beloved country Ghana, regarding The Prophetic Ministry.
I usually do not like to comment on such matters, not because I don’t have the capacity, but because, in my opinion nobody, has the right to judge his fellow man, or spiritual matters.
Since the first of January, however, a number of people and some radio stations have called me, urging me to comment on some doomsday prophecies concerning a number of high profile personalities in our country.
Believers must be careful in the times we live in. ( Jude 4) “For Certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ”.
There are many ways to describe a false Prophet or Teacher. “Prophets or teachers who cares nothing about what God wants, and everything about what man wants”. They are the “men- pleasers” rather than God- pleasers. Paul thought of them as the “ear ticklers”.
“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound doctrine, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers ( Prophets) to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths” ( 2 Timothy 4:3-4)
We live in a generation, where preachers and some men of God crave for popularity more than celebrities. They crave for attention and praise from some rented press, politicians and some high class personalities in society. They compete for attention more than marketing assistance. To maintain his followers’ respect, he preaches only the parts of the Bible they deem acceptable, and they must of a necessity “prophesy” to please their followers even when God has not commanded them. They preach much happiness, less sin. They preach an empty gospel to a packed congregation. Their followers urge them on. They put fear and panic into the public domain so they keep their followers in perpetual bondage. When their authority is challenged, they release their rented press and members to attack you on social media, and sometimes, physically assault and discredit the genuine ones…..
(To be cont..)
Stay blessed always and remember to love someone and mean it.
