ISAIAH 41:10

“SO DO NOT FEAR, FOR I AM WITH YOU, DO NOT BE DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL STRENGTHEN YOU AND HELP YOU; I WILL UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND”.

I am certain many people are beginning to worry about how fast the year has gone. It’s already July, and most probably, many people have not yet even started to execute their vision for 2019.

I mean, actually worried, to the point of losing sleep, developing headache or high blood pressure. The actual meaning of The Word Worry; “is to choke” or “strangle”. That’s the appropriate description of what worry does to us. Worries do not only have physical consequences to us,it has spiritual consequences as well. In the end, worry won’t add a pesswa to your account, give you a job, heal the sickness, give you a husband or wife, give you a child or add an inch to your height. It will sour our mood and eventually stifle our relationship with God. To worry about things only can’t change them and it is a terrible waste of emotional energy. Rather than worry, learn the art of “creative anxiety”. While worry is destructive, “creative anxiety” is constructive. Worry focuses on problems; creative anxiety focuses on the solution. Worry controls you, creative anxiety puts you in control of your emotions.

Dear reader, regardless of who you are, your profession ,wealth or academic credentials, you will always have something yet to be done. Many people tend to worry about what has NOT been done and what they DON’T have, instead of appreciating what has been done, and thank God for what they have, and been able to achieve through grace. One of the major reasons for worry is comparison; and the other is gossip and criticism.

Apostle Peter advises us not fear or be frightened by doing right.

“But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed”. “Do not fear their threats ( criticism, gossip, mockery etc emphasis mine); do not be frightened”.

(1 Peter 3:14)

Keep your faith and maintain your focus. You are not in competition with anyone to set a record of success, you are only competing against yourself to be better than yesterday, and you are doing so at your own pace.

Keep your mind on the promises of God, not the promises of man.

To be cont..

Stay blessed always and remember to love someone and mean it.
