JOHN 20:26-29

Every believer, will at a certain point in their life question their faith to a certain degree. Zechariah, the high Priest, who has been ministering before God since he was child questioned his ability to have a child after receiving a message from God:

“And Zechariah said to the angel,”How shall I know this? For I m old, and my wife is advanced in years”. (Luke 1:18).

One of the things I have realised about “doubters” is that, they doubt, and doubt for others too. Once it is not possible for them, it is not possible at all for anyone else. Peter questioned what he was doing as he walked on the water. (Matthew 14:30)

Thomas doubted the risen Lord without strict physical proof (John 20:24-25). Abraham, the father of faith, by virtue of his righteousness doubted his ability to have offspring in his old age. (Genesis 15:6, 17:17-18). Many believers understand this, especially those who have followed Christ for a long time. Once you are a follower of Christ, the devil will put doubts in your heart and mind. The truth is that, there is a spiritual virus that has been going around for centuries; it called the virus of DOUBT. The only anti virus is FAITH.

Those who have the virus of doubt spread it so fast. Saint Thomas Aquinas once said,”To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible”. Most often, when things don’t go according to plan, we lose faith, not only in ourselves, but also the potential outcome in our lives. It is failure, disappointment and challenges that causes it. When we experience monumental failures, it’s easy to lose hope and faith; doubt and fear take over. Never underestimate your faith. Many people don’t believe things they cannot see. It must not be so among believers. When you focus on the power of faith, it breeds abundance. Doubt breeds despair. Always keep in mind, that, whatever could not kill you, will make you stronger. That is why you must not let your past failures and discouragements cause you to doubt.

Increase your faith, reduce your doubts. Faith helps you to discover your purpose. Doubt makes you loose your purpose.

You are destined for greater things. Stop the doubts and increase your faith and confidence.

Stay blessed always and remember to love someone and mean it.
