Just in: Ahmed-Hussein-Suale’s funeral set for Feb 7 and 8

 The final funeral rites of Ahmed Hussein-Suale will be held at the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) International Press Centre in Accra.

It will start with a vigil in the evening of Thursday, February 7, 2019, while the main programme will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019.

The organisers invite all Ghanaians to join them to perform the final funeral rites for Hussein-Suale.

Some participants are expected from outside Ghana.

The undercover investigator, who was also a key member of Tiger Eye Private Investigation team, led by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, was shot dead by unidentified men riding a motorbike on Wednesday night, January 16, at Madina in Accra while driving home.

His murder shook the foundations of the nation respected for press freedom, attracting wild condemnation from the international community.

Police have since interviewed some persons of interest, including the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong; and former President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
