Ghana ready to partner Burkina Faso on projects of mutual benefit-VP Bawumia

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has indicated that Ghana is ready to partner neighboring Burkina Faso on projects that will inure to the benefit of the two countries mutually.

According to him, Ghana is happy with the level of cooperation that has been shown by the Government of Burkina Faso in the railway inter-connectivity project from Tema to Ouagadougou and the Bolgatanga-Ouagadougou electricity network interconnection.

The Vice president made these remarks when he received a delegation from Burkina Faso led by H.E Alpha Barry, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation at the Jubilee House in Accra today, Friday December 14 2018.

Dr. Bawumia and his guests discussed issues pertaining to the 12th Session of the Ghana- Burkina Faso Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation and ongoing international commitments such as the 81st Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers of ECOWAS in Abuja, Nigeria.
