Information available to BestNewsGH.com indicates that former deputy information Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu barring any last minute change of mind is set to contest the Abora-Asebu-Kwamankese constituency National Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries in the Central Region.
Once he sails through the primaries, he will go ahead to contest the 2020 elections, pitching the opposition NDC against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the constituency.
This Website is reliably informed that the declaration was made today, Friday, December 14 2018 at a meeting with the party’s constituency executives.
This means that Mr. Kwakye Ofosu, a native of Abakrampa in the Abora Asebu Kwamankese District will have a face-off with the current NDC Member of Parliament for the Constituency Anthony Christian Dadzie, should he decide to seek re-election.
When contacted, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu declined comment on the matter, telling this reporter he will come out at the right time to state his position.
But sources close to him tell this Website that the former deputy Minister is still having consultations with various stakeholders in the constituency and the party before taking a definite decision on the matter.
This website will keep readers abreast with any new developments in subsequent publications.
