Confirmed: EOCO officially freezes accounts and assets of NAM1

The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has today, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 officially frozen all the accounts of embattled Chief Executive Officer of distressed gold trading firm, Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah.

Information available to BestNewsGH.com indicates that the office is also following up with court order to secure all assets and properties belonging to NAM1 as the Menzgold boss is popularly known.

Government is on the heels of Nana Appiah Mensah for defrauding under false pretences and causing thousands of Ghanaians who invested in his company to lose their investments.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest and security agencies, particularly the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has sought assistance from Interpol to apprehend him.

Just yesterday, Monday January 14, 2019, the Ghana Police Service issued a statement confirming the arrest of Nana Appiah Mensah in Dubai and that Ghanaian embassy officials have visited him in Custody.

He is expected to be in Ghana by tomorrow Wednesday, January 16, 2019 for investigations to begin.
