Zylofon Fm and TV suspend operations following EOCO/High Court asset Freeze order

The Management of Zylofon Media, operators of Zylofon Fm and TV have served notice the stations will suspend operations from today, Wednesday January 30, 2019.

The move according to a statement issued by the company is in compliance with the directive by the Economic and Organised Office and an Accra High Court ordering the free of the company’s landed properties and vehicles.

The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) yesterday announced that it had secured an order from a High Court to freeze all landed properties and vehicles of the distressed gold trading firm and its Chief Executive Officer, Nana Appiah Mensah.

It went further to instruct all workers of the affected companies, relatives and friends of the Chief Executive Officer who are in possession of all such properties to surrender them without fail.

It is against this background that the management of Zylofon Media has decided to close down the two media outlets.
