The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for the Klortey-Korley Constituency, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings has donated seven motorbikes to the Ghana Police Service in the constituency.
According to her, it is imperative for the police to be well equipped to enable them prosecute their mandate of protecting lives and properties effectively and efficiently.
She argued in a post on her Facebook Page and sighted by BestNewsGH.com that the police play a very critical role in ensuring the safety of the citizenry to enable them go about their duties without fear.
She seized the moment to impress upon well meaning Ghanaians to lend their support to the police to enable them deliver on their mandate.
She said “I would also like to take this opportunity to urge my constituents and all Ghanaians to endeavour to volunteer timely information to aid the work of the Ghana Police Service to enable them fight crime effectively.”
