NEDCo staff in Upper West Region shot dead by robbers in Kumasi

A staff of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company, (NEDCo) stationed in the Upper West Regional Capital, Wa has been shot dead by some criminals suspected to armed robbers.

The deceased who is only known as Eric, was said to have taken three days off duty to attend to some personal business in Kumasi when the unfortunate incident occurred.

BestNewsGH.com is informed that he had gone to buy some tyres for a tractor when he was attacked by the suspected robbers and his money taken away in the process at Suame.

Originally from the Upper East Region, the deceased has been living and working in the Upper West Region for the last five years.
