Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Builsa South Constituency in the Upper East Region, Dr. Clement Apaak has warned that the masses will soon rise against the Akufo-Addo led administration if the grand plan to capture the state and kill businesses and banks in particular does not stop.

His call comes on the back of a post by ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) strongman, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko on social media, urging Ghanaians to keep faith with the government as there is a plan that is systematically transforming the country by the current administration.

He wrote ‘’ “Systematically, Akufo-Addo is transforming the structure of our nation. There is a plan; there is a programme; most of all, conviction. Keep the faith’’.

But responding to Mr. Otchere-Darko, Dr. Apaak wrote   ‘’Why should the people keep faith when systematically, Akufo-Addo, his Uncle, is trying to change the history of Ghana and is working to transform the structure of our nation as part of his hegemonic agenda? I agree with Gabby that there is a plan, it is called “state capture” and yes there is a programme, it is called “kill banks, companies and entities” of NADAA’S internal and external political opponents’’.

Dr. Apaak continued that ‘’why wouldn’t Gabby say it’s a conviction? He is part of the agenda designed to benefit him and his clansmen. However, Gabby must remember that such attempts have failed miserably in history.  Soon, the masses will rise because they will not keep faith with a plan to make one group or organisation more powerful; to have control, and importance than others’’.
