The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Micheal Okyere Baafi has assured investors of the determination of the Authority to protect their interest and ensure they operate within the confines of the laws of the country.
According him, there is no need for any investor to panic and habour fears of losing their investments since the Authority will always ensure they are protected.
Mr. Baafi made the promise during a meeting with Non-Free Zone Enterprises operating within the Tema Export Processing zone at its Head Office in Accra.
The meeting basically deliberated on pertinent issues militating against their operations in the Enclave.
Paramount among the issues discussed were the provision of busing and catering services, tolling services, destruction of facilities and environmental pollution among others.
Mr. Baafi further assured that the Authority will continue to strive to create a very congenial atmosphere that will guarantee a win-win situation for the investors and Government.
