‘’We remain the best in West Africa despite our challenges’’-GBC Boss shades GFA

Professor Amin Alhassan, the Director-General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) says in spite of the challenges that has bedeviled the state broadcaster, it remains the best in the country and West Africa as a whole.

The comments, BestNewsGH.com can report, comes on the back of the banter between the state broadcaster and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over the award of the contract for broadcast rights of the Ghana Premiere League to StarTimes ahead of GBC.

GBC has insisted it has been treated unfairly and unjustly by the Ghana FA.

The Director-General who was addressing staff of the corporation as part of activities marking his 100 days in office, opined that they will do everything possible to improve the content they churn out to ensure they are suitable for public consumption.

Professor Alhassan underscored the need for staff of the corporation to leverage on the use of social media in their operations.
