The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has gifted the National Chief Imam, Sheik Osumanu Nuhu Sharabutu a brand New Toyota Avalon salon car with a customized number plate C IMAM 1-18 on the occasion of his 61st Annual Maulid Celebration.
Maulid is a yearly Celebration marked by Tijanniya Muslims to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
On such occasions, a revered Mallam highlights the virtues of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and seek to admonish his audience to follow the path of Allah and his Messenger for a better Life in this World and the Hereafter.
This year’s Maulid under the Auspices of the National Chief Imam is slated for Saturday, 8th December, 2018.
