The second lady Hajia Samira Bawumia today December 7, 2018 mentored students from her alma amter, Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School when they called on her at her residence in Accra.
The students had earlier embarked on an educational tour of Parliament before calling on the second lady.
Led by some members of the Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School Old Girls’ Association including the president, Madam Esi Hammond, the students shared with the second lady, their experiences, aspirations and challenges.
The students told Hajia Samira they were inspired, by the dedication of the Old Girls’ Association and aspired to join once they leave school.
Describing the visit as a surprise, the second lady encouraged the students to make the most out of the resources available to them, in order to be productive members of society.
