VP Bawumia pushes for religious tolerance as he celebrates Christmas with churches in Walewale and environs

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stressed the need for religious tolerance in the country to allow for accelerated development.

According to him, religious tolerance coupled with neighbourly love are some of the ultimate ingredients that will propel the country forward and ensure peaceful social cohesion and co-existence.

Vice President Bawumia made the remarks on Christmas day when he visited a number of churches in Walewale and its surroundings to celebrate the yuletide with them.

The churches he visited included the Assemblies of God, Roman Catholic, Apostolic, Presbyterian and Elim Ghana, as they celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ.
