UWR: NPP deputy National Organiser Elvis Botah supports Kuo Kakalaa Community with borehole

A deputy National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Elvis Botah has gone to the rescue of the people Kuo Kakalaa in the Charikpong area of the Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency by giving them a borehole to solve the age long problem of water scarcity in the area.

Mr. Botah who was the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Nadowli/ Kaleo constituency in the 2016 election said the gesture is part of efforts to develop the area.

He is currently on a thank you tour of the constituency to thank leaders and members of the constituency for his appointment as deputy national organizer of the NPP.

He visited the site for the drilling of the borehole with the community members, accompanied by workers of the drilling company and the drilling machine to officially announce the support to the community who usually walk 7 kilometres to a small stream to access water.

The move comes after several calls by the community members to authorities in the help alleviate their plight to no avail.

Mr. Botah is personally financing the project at a cost 16, 500 Ghana Cedis and has promised to do more in his quest to see the area develop.

Members of the community could not hide their joy at the gesture of the NPP deputy National Organizer, saying it came at a time they least expected.
