The Upper West regional representative of the Nation Builders Corps (NABco), Nuhu Omar has described the initiative as a deliberate and well thought through policy by government, aimed at helping ameliorate the unemployment situation in the country.
He explained in an interview with Radio Progress in Wa, during a programme dubbed ‘My Constituency’ that most detractors of the initiative in the region have applied to be enrolled unto it, adding that the public perception about the initiative is wrong and must be repelled.
He reiterated government’s commitment at using innovative ways to create jobs for the many graduates that are being churned out from the tertiary institutions in the country.
He said his call to graduates of all levels (tertiary) in April 2018 to apply to be enrolled unto the programme has yielded some considerable level of patronage of the initiative.
Graduates he opined are to log unto the Nabco website www.nabco.gov.gh and register to be enrolled.
He listed the seven modules under the programme as Heal Ghana, Civic Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Educate Ghana, Feed Ghana, and Revenue Ghana.
Mr.Nuhu added that orientation of successful applicants will resume on September 25, 2018.
