The vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia spent the 31st watch night service at the Desert Pastures of Fountain Gate Chapel in the Upper East Regional Capital, Bolgatanga.
He joined the founder of Fountain Gate Chapel and president of the Eastwood Anaba Ministries, Rev. Eastwood Anaba and his congregants as the special guest of honour.
It was the church’s watch night service for 2018, crossing into the New Year 2019.
‘’It was a night to worship God, reflect on the year 2018, and usher ourselves into 2019. We prayed for our peace, unity and love amongst Ghanaians. I pray that God will grant us a healthy life and fruitful year in 2019’’ the vice president announced on his Facebook Page.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was accompanied to the watch night service by scores of government functionaries and party faithful including the Upper East Regional Minister, Pauline Abayage and the Minister for Aviation, Joseph Kofi Adda among others.
