The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammi Awuku is counting on the youth wing of the party to clinch victory in the 2020 elections.

He is particularly confident that the students wing of the party, the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) will in no small measure lead the charge for the party’s victory.

According to the dynamic young political icon, TESCON has been well positioned to ensure victory for the NPP in the upcoming elections.

Mr. Awuku who joined other Party stalwarts including the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the National Chairman, Freddie Blay and a host of others at the closing session of the National TESCON training and orientation conference and the launch of the TESCON @ 20 anniversary yesterday, July 29, 2019 at the University of Ghana, Legon said the party was counting on the youth to deliver an emphatic victory in the 2020 elections.

He took to his Facebook Page and wrote:

“Re-energising, Re-strategizing and Re- positioning TESCON for 2020

A successful event it was yesterday, as I joined H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, National Chairman Freddie Blay, and other stalwarts of the New Patriotic Party at the closing ceremony, of the launch of TESCON at 20 anniversary at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Surely a step in the right direction in inspiring the Youth Wing to consolidate our electoral gains.

I remain assured that TESCON is definitely well positioned to ensure victory in 2020.
