The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku has met and interacted with scrap dealers at Kokompe in the Western Regional Capital, Takoradi.
The meeting is akin to a similar one he had with fishermen in some fishing communities in the region earlier on Tuesday.
The interaction was to afford the NPP National Organiser the opportunity to elicit feedback on various government policies and programmes and their impact on their operations.
It also forms part of a series of lined up activities to meet various groups across the country ahead of the 2020 elections.
Mr. Awuku used the occasion to assure the scrap dealers of the commitment of president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and NPP government to continue to deliver on their promises to the generality of the Ghanaian people.
According to him, all the programmes and policies introduced by government are well thoughtout and calculated at enhancing the quality of life of the Ghanaian people, explaining that the benefits of some of these policies are beginning to manifest.
He said president Akufo-Addo is not oblivious of the numerous challenges that Ghanaians are facing and is bent on eliminating them and to bring, particularly the youth, some relief.
The ever vibrant and respected NPP National Organiser had very kind words for his organisers in the region saying “many thanks for your massive attendance this afternoon. I love your awesome spirit. Let’s do it again in 2020”.
Mr. Awuku expressed optimism that they will deliver victory for the NPP in the 2020 elections.
