Superintendent of Police, Mrs. Sheila Abayie-Buckman has assumed leadership of the Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana Police Service.

Mrs. Sheila Abayie-Buckman at a brief but impressive ceremony at the National Police Headquarters, on Monday, January 20, 2020.
DCOP David Eklu, BestNewsGH.com can confirm, has moved to the Police Hospital as Hospital Administrator.
He used the occasion of the handing over, which was laced with a refresher workshop for all public affairs officers within the police service, to share his experience of police public relations and also pledged his unyielding support to the directorate even as he moves to his new duty post.
Dr. Margaret Amoakohene, a Communications Consultant, Ambassador and Member of the Council of State took the participants through current trends in Public Relations practice.
She impressed upon the Police Officer to endeavor to continue to upgrade themselves in order to remain and stay relevant.
Lawyer Zakariah Musa Tanko of the Ghana Institute of Journalism also led the officers to discuss the Right to Information Act and its relations with police-public affairs .
