A pro opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) group, Volta Youth for Justice has taken the party to the cleaners and sending a strong signal that it will no longer hold allegiance to it and that they will advise themselves in the 2020 elections.
According to the group, they have been stabbed in the back, having sacrificed their lives to the cause of the NDC, describing the verdict delivered by the party’s delegates at its just ended 9th national delegate’s conference as a total shock and disappointment to them.
The Volta Youth for Justice which issued statement a while ago and copied to BestNewsGH.com, read in part ‘’we are aware and well informed of a new axis of evil (JM and his cohorts) have worked tirelessly like brutus of our time to stab Voltarians in the back and make us irrelevant. Volta Youth for Justice wish to send our clear message to the entire NDC fraternity that, we will no longer hold any clear allegiance to NDC party, we will advise ourselves and also listen to our hearts before we cast our vote in 2020 election.’’
Signed by one of its leaders, Jerry Agbesi, the group said the youth of the Volta region is not ready to play second fiddle any longer and will take their political destiny into their hands.

VOLTA YOUTH FOR JUSTICE
Following the outcome of the last weekend’s delegates conference of the National Democratic Congress to elect the party’s national executives. Our reaction to the result is total shock and utter disappointment in the party that we have sacrificed our lives, body, and soul to ensure its survival in the Ghanaian Political space.
It is an undeniable fact that the Volta Region is seen as the world bank of the opposition NDC but the recent turn of events has sent a clear message to us the youth that Voltarians don’t matter in NDC politically. We are aware and well informed of a new axis of evil (JM and his cohorts) have worked tirelessly like brutus of our time to stab Voltarians in the back and make us irrelevant.
Volta Youth for Justice wish to send our clear message to the entire NDC fraternity that, we will no longer hold any clear allegiance to NDC party, we will advise ourselves and also listen to our heart before we cast our vote in 2020 election.
However, the youth of Volta Region are clear in our minds the direction we going and can no longer be second fiddle in the NDC.
