Sammi Awuku tours registration centers in Northern Region; commends party executives for vigilance

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammi Awuku has been touring some registration centers of the ongoing limited voter registration exercise being undertaken by the Electoral Commission in the Northern Region.

The visit according Mr. Awuku who spoke to BestNewsGH.com from Tamale, was to afford him the opportunity to monitor the exercise and to appreciate its conduct and assess progress so far.

Mr. Awuku who was accompanied on the tour by regional party executives, expressed satisfaction at the level of commitment and passion of the party leadership in the region towards the exercise.

He was particularly proud of the level of enthusiasm shown by the Northern Regional Executives of the Party towards the exercise.

‘’We believe this exercise is a very important one and we attach a lot of seriousness to it. We are not taking it lightly at all and we want every member of our party to attach the same seriousness to it. I am proud of the job the regional executives have done and I commend them greatly’’ he opined.

He commended the regional, constituency, electoral area and polling station executives in the region for their dedication to duty and for keeping vigilant as the exercise progresses.
