The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammi Awuku together with the National Youth Organiser of the party Henry Nana Boakye and the National Nasara Coordinator Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa have stormed the Western Region and have met party youth and supporters to address some disagreements that took place a couple of days ago.
There was a clash between the party youth and officials of the Forestry Commission culminating in the organization of a press conference by the party youth during which they leveled several allegations against the chiefs in the area.
The visit saw the trio visit Sehwi Wiawso, Akontombra as well as the Bia East and West constituencies where they also called on the chiefs and elders in the various communities and apologized for the unfortunate comments made by the aggrieved party youth against them.
‘’We are determined to ensure our party supporters work in harmony with agencies of state and also support our government to deliver on its mandate’’ Mr. Sammi Awuku assured.
