Ashanti Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Sam Pyne has taken the National Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the cleaners, labelling him a thief who has no respect for elders and can go as far as insulting the president of the republic with impunity.

According to him, Kofi Adams has lost every shred of integrity and respect and has no moral right or authority to label or question anyone in the country on issues relating to corruption.

Mr. Pyne is peeved with the NDC National Organiser because he described president Akufo-Addo in a statement he authored on behalf the party calling for an independent investigation into the number 12 expose by Tiger Eye PI and its boss Anas Aremeyaw Anas, as the head of a bribe collecting syndicate at the presidency.

The NDC statement was issued on the back of the life ban imposed on former Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi by FIFA.

In paragraph 4 of the statement he authored, Mr. Adams wrote ‘’It will be recalled that Mr. Nyantakyi was caught on video revealing very worrying corrupt practises and in the process implicated the president of the republic HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the head of a bribe collecting syndicate at the presidency’’

According to the NPP Ashanti Regional Secretary, Mr. Adams is a thief who stole several state vehicles when the NDC lost power, adding that, that record is public knowledge when the issue gained national attention and the vehicles were retrieved from his house and shown on national television.

‘’We should check some of these pronouncements. It shouldn’t be that because of free speech anyone at all can get up and spew any garbage against elders and allowed to go. Kofi Adams? Who is he to say that to the elderly?
