Aspiring Deputy National Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Chief Biney Hamilton Nixon has revealed that market women have resorted to collecting phone numbers of customers as a result of low patronage.

“I was in the market the other day and I sought to buy an item from a woman and I first asked her how things were and she told me things were bad. That sales had gone down drastically and that it was unprecedented. She then asked for my phone number and when I enquired what she needed it for, she said she wants to call me to come and buy her stuff from time to time because things were bad and they were all desperate” he said.

He minced no words in castigating the ruling New Patriotic Party and the government under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for what he says is ‘visiting untold hardship on Ghanaians.’
