The incessant clashes between nomadic herdsmen, known in local parlance as Fulani and indigenes of Asante Akim Agogo seems to be a thing of the past now, as the ruling New Patriotic Party’s promise of constructing a cattle ranch to enable the cattle graze and not stray into peoples farms to cause destruction has been fulfilled.

Indeed the clashes on several occasions led to the death of some number of people and was becoming a threat to national security.

It is believed that the construction of the ranch will in no small measure help restore peace and return the area to normalcy.

The ranch is strategically positioned in Wawase in the Kwahu area.
