The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammi Awuku has received the Youth in Leadership Award at this year’s UMB Tertiary Awards.
The Awards took place yesterday November 23, 2018 and seek to recognize young people who have blazed the trail in various fields of endeavor and who have exhibited exceptional leadership qualities.
Mr. Awuku whose Award was taken on his behalf by a representative took to his Facebook page to thank the organisers of the event for the honour done him.
He wrote ‘’Many thanks to the Organisers for such a great initiative to recognize and encourage the amazing talents and initiatives of the Ghanaian Youth.
He indicated his resolve and commitment to do all within his power to encourage and advocate for the continued empowerment of the Ghanaian youth to enable them maximize and realize their full potentials for national development.
‘’As a mentor and brother, I promise to do my best to encourage and advocate for the empowerment of the youth to defeat all odds in their quest to outdoor and maximize their potentials. I remain eternally grateful for this honor’’ he said.
