Resident in the Tema West Constituency are apprehensive at what they describe as the appalling performance of their Member of Parliament, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah who also doubles as the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry.

They are unhappy that while their Member of Parliament is seems to be sleeping on the job, his counterparts for Tema Central and Tema East constituencies, Kofi Brako and Titus Glover respectively are busy developing their constituencies.

Their problem primarily has to do with bad road network in the constituency which has made movement somewhat cumbersome for the residents.

A vociferous New Patriotic Party Member in the constituency who was very instrumental in campaigning for Mr. Ahenkorah during the 2016 elections, Enoch Sarpong, popularly known as Davuchi is afraid the MP per his poor performance would be a one term MP.

Scores of residents told this website the MP seems to have lost touch with what his mandate as a Member of Parliament is and has a very bad relationship with his constituents.

Enoch Sarpong for example talks about the bad road network in Sakumono Village-NTHC-MP’s flats-Lashibi and Mighty Beach areas among a host of others.

Enoch Sarpong has on several occasions lampooned the MP for his poor performance, drawing his attention to the fact he risk losing the seat should he continue in the same way.

Yesterday December 30, 2018, he took to his Facebook Wall once again to pour his frustration at the non-performance of the MP writing ‘’when you wake up feeling good about Liverpool’s victory yesterday only to think about how fantastic Titus Glover and KB are performing in their respective Tema Constituencies then my heart begins to boil over a certain MP in my constituency. I wonder why l usually get furious on Sunday Mornings. The Devil has designed a plan to distract me on Sunday mornings…Let me get prepared for CHURCH. May l not hit a POT HOLE in the numerous potholes on the Sakumono Village-NTHC- MPs flat,-Lashibi and Mighty Beach road this morning in Jesus Name’’.
