Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo has promised to address the incessant and increased use of sirens by government appointees in the country.

The practice of government appointees using sirens of their vehicles, perhaps in efforts to evade traffic particularly in the capital city Accra, has become a major concern to citizens, particularly other drivers and road users who describe the practice as nuisance.

Renowned broadcaster with Accra based Peace Fm, Kwame Sefa Kayi drew the attention of the Senior minister to the practice and pleaded with him to help call all such appointees to order.

‘’We are those who voted for you but now it has become too much. Please do something about it for us, I beg you’’ he told the senior Minister.

Mr. Osafo Maafo who was at Peace Fm today together with the Finance Minister Ken Ofori Attah to shed more light on the 2019 budget and government economic policy statement which was delivered yesterday November 15 2018, promised to fix the issue once and for all.
