Opinion: is NPP suggesting Akans are useless?-Ebenezer Assan queries

I have observed with shock and disbelief, the funny rants by the rank and file of the NPP seeking to suggest that the NDC has sidelined Voltarians and settled on Akans to be our National Executives at the just ended 9th National Delegates Congress.

Let it be put on record that these arguments are neither here nor there. In the midst of all this euphoria, one thing becomes clear; the NPP is openly telling Ghanaians that Akans are useless and unfit to be in top leadership positions. According to the NPP, Akans, particularly Asantes, Bonos, and our brothers from the Eastern region have no mind of their own to lead any group or organization in this country.

In any case, the NDC is and has always been a national party, giving equal treatment to all ethnic groupings in Ghana. An objective study of our national front, paints the picture of a party that has fully integrated leaders from all tribes in Ghana.

The NDC will not be distracted by this mischief and needless propaganda from our political opponents. We have elected battle ready national officers who are poised to unseat Nana Addo and his Non-Performing Party (NPP) come 2020. I think the NPP is haunted by the solid team we, as a democratic party have elected to lead us into victory 2020, and so someway somehow, we can understand their misbehavior, frustration and panic.
