The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has taken his own party to the cleaners accusing it of defending wicked and evil criminals.

He has vowed to lay down his life for people in the Kasoa area who he alleged are being terrorized by a certain man who is on a land grabbing spree in the area, killing several people in the process.

According to him, the man, named only as Akwasi Alhaji is widely known in the area as a brutal person who kills people and take their land, using armed land guards to terrorize victims, adding that he is also a known NPP apparatchik.

“That guy is so rooted that even the Police in the area are afraid of him. A senior police Office told a friend of mine on phone which was in loud speaker that he will not talk to me because if I blow the matter up, he will lose his job. The police who are supposed to protect us are now running away from land guards. They are afraid of the man. I will report this matter to the president as soon as he returns. Because according to the Senior Police Officer, each time the man has a court case, it is a big NPP lawyer that defends him. So he is very well connected and I will put my life on the line for the people of Kasoa just as I did for the people of East legon on their land issue” he said.
