Many political and media watchers have expressed surprise at the come-back of loudmouth New Patriotic Party (NPP) Brong Ahafo regional vice chairman Abronye DC to mainstream radio and television to defend the party.

They are shocked that Kwame Baffoe who took his party to cleaners a few weeks ago, accusing government officials of neglecting him and treating him as a nobody can return to the defend the party so vehemently.

Abronye DC, real name Kwame Baffoe a few weeks ago lambasted and chastised his party and government appointees for refusing to support him by giving him contracts to execute, saying most of them rather chose to give the contracts and jobs to their girlfriends.

He said his sacrifices had gone unnoticed in spite of the fact that he has significantly contributed to the victory of the party in the 2016 elections, adding that he was among party folks who deferred their courses in school to campaign for the party.

The embittered Brong Ahafo Regional NPP vice chairman at the time narrated how he was insulted by a government appointee after the appointee offered him a 50 thousand cedi contract, retorting ’’How much is 50 thousand cedis. Does he think I am child? They give all the fat and juicy contracts to their girlfriends and their cronies and when it gets to our turn they discriminate. They now award contracts based on who is beautiful or handsome I am advising myself from now on’’.

He vowed at the time never to represent and defend the party ever again on radio and television, adding that he was going to move back to his home region and continue with his role as regional vice chairman.

But the vociferous NPP leader who has since returned with full force and hopping from one media house to the other in defense of the party has caught the attention of some political and media watchers who believe Mr. Kwame Baffoe was bribed by the party and the government to rescind his decision, particularly given the fact that he has become even more vociferous and loud than before.
