Nigeria: President Akufo-Addo graces Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Forum

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was the guest of honour at the 2018 edition of the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Forum in Lagos, Nigeria.

The president ceased the opportunity to brief the young entrepreneurs about Ghana’s National Entrepreneurship and Innovative Plan (NEIP) and how it is transforming and shaping entrepreneurship in the country.

He said under the Ministry of Business Development, the NEIP seeks to stimulate and nurture entrepreneurship talent in the country.

According to the president, government has injected an initial capital of 10 million Dollars as seed money into the initiative which has seen some 1 thousand start-ups from across the country benefiting from the support to grow their businesses.

The event brought together some 5,000 young African entrepreneurs who are being funded, trained and mentored by the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
