Nigeria: I have no certificate but I am your president – Buhari replies critics over WAEC certificate row

Over 70 presidential candidates out of 91 political parties that will participate in the 2019 Presidential elections have started presenting their credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission reports from Nigeria reveal.

But key contender in the election and incumbent president Muhamadu Buhari is yet to comply with the requirement as he has been accused of not having the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) certificate.

But the president has hit back at his critics saying ‘’I have no certificate but I am your president.’’

He also added that, the certificate should not be the problem and that he was fixated at fixing the problems in Nigeria.

‘’Nigeria has a bigger problem to solve which I am doing everything in my power to deal with, for this country to be better. In my government’s tenure Nigeria has recorded good roads, stable electricity, good schools, security, jobs for our youths and more and I promise to do better he said.
