NDC to appoint a social Media director with two deputies – Sammy Gyamfi

Aspiring National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has announced that he will appoint a social media director and two deputies for the party, should he be elected national communications officer of the party at its national delegates conference due in a few weeks.

According to him, the move is aimed at putting in place a system that will coordinate the work and activities of the party’s social media team, given the important role they play in the party’s communications machinery.

Mr. Gyamfi pointed out that it is imperative to ensure that the social media team of the party is well resourced to make it more effective and efficient in order to prosecute the mandate of propagating and disseminating the party’s message and agenda to the generality of the Ghanaian people.

‘’ Under my leadership, I will appoint a social media director who will have two deputies and at least the social media team will have a representation of 5 people at the national communications team to enable them be a part of all the meetings we will be having. We will give them the office, the logistics, and all the equipment they need for their work’’ he averred in an interview with BestNewsGH.com

Explaining further, Mr. Gyamfi said the party will provide the social media team with periodic support packages to incentivise and motivate them to continue to work for and in the interest of the party

Mr. Gyamfi touted his credentials and pedigree as someone who has worked with the party’s communications team since the age of 18, adding that he has what it takes to build a robust and effective communications team, capable of propelling the party to victory in election 2020.
