Presidential candidate hopeful of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr. Ekow Spio Garbrah has launched an appeal for financial support from benevolent Ghanaians and institutions to help him fund his political campaign.
Dr. Spio-Garbrah alludes to the capital intensive nature of criss-crossing the nook and crannies of the country to canvass the support of the electorates in his quest to occupy the office of president.
The former Trade and industry Minister in the John Dramani Mahama led administration is banking his hopes on the financial support he will receive from kind hearted Ghanaians to be able to realise the dream of becoming president in the country to be able to implement his agenda to transform every facet of the economy.Dr. Spio-Grabrah who at some point was also the Minister for education believes he has what it takes in terms of experience and expertise to occupy the highest office of the land, citing international exposure and links with international organisations including the United Nations as credential that cannot be overlooked.
Speaking on Accra based GhOne TV and monitored by BestnewsGH.com, Dr. Spio-Garbrah said there is a wind of change sweeping through the camp of the opposition political patty and that he is confident NDC delegates will choose him as their leader for the 2020 polls.
The NDC has set December 7 for the election of its presidential candidate.
