National Organiser aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joshua Hamidu Akamba has indicated that some party delegates can be smart and witty sometimes.

According to him, the reception he receives in the various constituencies gives him hope that he will receive an overwhelming endorsement as the party’s national organizer when they go for the NDC national executive elections.

He however warned that not all the delegates who praise-sing and openly support them will vote for them, explaining that some of them are quite trickish.

Mr. Akamba opined further that there also are some delegates who are very honest and stick to their promise and delivers when the time is due.

‘’I have been a cadre and I know what the party used to be and how it is today. The people know what I have done for this party and they have assured me that they will vote for me to lead them in the 2020 elections as the national organizer’’.

He added that some of the delegates have exhibited a very high level of loyalty to the extent that they will not go for vote buying, as a result of their desire to bring the NDC back to power in 2020.

Mr. Joshua Akamba who currently is the Deputy National Organiser of the NDC is facing a great challenge from former Eastern Regional Minister, Ahmed Baba Jamal.

Mr. Baba Jamal recently launched what is called the one constituency office, one telephone in which he has begun the distribution of telephones to all the 275 constituencies across the country.
