Veteran Journalist and Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako has described General Secretary Aspirants of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and Koku Anyidoho as problematic.

According to him the two gentlemen one way or the other have several minuses that does not make  them the perfect choice for the position of General Secretary of Ghana’s biggest opposition party.

While conceding that he was not a member of the NDC, he added that he will vouch for the incumbent General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah who is facing stiff competition from his deputy Mr. Koku Anyidoho who seem to be giving General Mosquito as the NDC chief scribe is popularly known a good run for his money.

According Mr. Baako, his preference for Mr. Asiedu Nketiah over Mr. Anyidoho is premised on the fact that the incumbent General Secretary is more experienced, has a track record and enormous exposure compared to Mr. Anyidoho.

‘’Asiedu Nketiah is preferable to Anyidoho. I don’t belong to the NDC but asked to make a choice I think I will go for Asiedu Nketiah if I am doing a balanced sheet to assess them politically that is all I am saying. It is a marathon and both of them are my friends too’’ he said on an Accra based local television station and monitored by BestNewsGH.com.
