LUKE 17:14-18

Gratitude is a choice; but it is also a command. You can choose to be grateful or choose to live your life full of resentment, complaints, murmuring, regret and ingratitude.

“Gratitude is a conviction, an attitude, a practice, and a discipline”. Ungratefulness is a big sign that, you are disconnected from God. A person who is disconnected from God is NOT communing with God daily through His word and through prayer. People who show gratitude continually fix their eyes on God. “If you are truly connected to God, and His word is supreme in your life, you will experience intimacy with Him”. He will give us inner peace, He will give us more of Himself and less of what is happening in our environment, if you have more of God, you can not,but be grateful.

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”..( Romans 5:1).

Many believers have surrounded their lives with excessive noise. They will always bombard you with modern trends over and above Biblical principles. They quote scriptures from armed-chair theologians, and half-baked social media Bible scholars as their basis for not being GRATEFUL. They will tell you why; “there’s no problem chatting on the phone during Sunday worship”. Many believers are so ungrateful that, they always predict the worst. Believers, filled with the Holy Spirit, easily swayed away and drawn towards negativity. “Anytime they see two people together ( male and female) they think of the worst”. You can re-train your mind, to think positive and be grateful and happy for people. Once you are not grateful for your life, you will never be grateful for someone’s life. “A grateful heart is focused on the sovereign grace of God, not on self”.

If you are on a journey of becoming a happier person, you know for sure that, being GRATEFUL and expressing GRATITUDE are keys you can not ignore. Show gratitude openly, never over look anything God has done for you or through people did in your life. Express it without expecting anything in return.

Stay blessed always and remember to love someone and mean it.
