Kudos to Akufo-Addo and his government for showing Ofosu Ampofo where power lies-NDC MP

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa still seem shocked at the invitation extended to the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service in connection with the leaked explosive audio which has since gone viral on both mainstream and social media.

The Ranking Member of Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee took to his Facebook page to register his displeasure at the treatment meted out to his party chairman saying ‘’Kudos to the Akufo-Addo Administration for showing NDC Chairman Ofosu Ampofo where power lies’’.

According to him, the police CID having invited the NDC Chairman can now in equal measure go after the actual kidnappers of the missing Takoradi girls, the actual contract killers and the Actual perpetrators of the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence.

‘’Can they now in equal measure go after the actual kidnappers of the Tadi girls, the actual contract killers & the actual perpetrators of the AWW by-election violence’’ he said.

The MP concluded by saying power is transient.

Mr. Ofosu Ampofo was invited by the Police CID to answer questions regarding the leaked audio tape which has a voice allegedly like his, revealing damning strategies the NDC intends to implore going in the 2020 elections.

In the audio, he is heard telling the party members and supporters how they will make life uncomfortable for some people connected to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) including kidnapping some of them.

He was also heard inciting and instigating party members and supporters against the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa and the Chairman of the National Peace Council, Most Rev. Professor Emmanuel Asante.
