The reconstituted Board of the Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company under the chairmanship of Alhaji Abdul Rahaman Abubakri , also known as Alhaji Short was sworn into office today with a call on them to endeavor to align the operations of the company with the vision of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the energy sector.
Deputy Energy Minister, Joseph Cudjoe who performed the swearing-in admonished the new board to apply best practices to aid management deliver on its mandate.
Members of the new board include Madam Frances Essiam, Awulae Annor Adjaye III, Nana Forson Danso, Mrs. Angelina Baiden- Amissah, Christer Akwei Ankrah and Kwadwo N. Poku.
The rest are Micheal Abbiw and Wahab Suhuyini Wumbei.
The board chairman on behalf of his colleagues thanked the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the confidence reposed in them and pledged their commitment to work in tandem with his vision for the energy sector and the country as a whole.
