Pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) vigilante group, invincible forces are lacing their boots to hit the streets in a massive demonstration over failed promises by politicians in the Ashanti region to give them jobs.

They say they are getting desperate by the day, as the tenure of the current administration keeps running out, and that with barely two years, to the end of the first 4 year tenure, there is no time to waste but to fight for what was promised them.

According to the leadership of the group, they played a very cardinal role in the party’s attainment of victory in the 2016 election including policing the ballot boxes on the day of the election.

Chairman of the group in the Ashanti Region, Abdul Karim Mohammed says the group’s members have threatened several times in the past to embark on the demonstration but had to be prevailed upon, to exercise restraint while they sort out the issues with the appropriate authorities.

He said several attempts at resolving their grievances with the leadership of the party in the region has seen successful meetings, but which meetings failed to resolve or address their concerns.

According to him, given their huge numbers as a group, their members understand that they cannot all be catered for in terms of job placements, but were hoping that the few who could be sorted out could be catered for in order to quell the tensions that are mounting by the day.
