Government has allocated 200 Million Ghana Cedis to the Micro Finance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) in the 2019 budget.
This will enable the company make disbursements to businesses across the country.
Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Attah while delivering the 2019 budget and government economic policy statement in Parliament today, said the company is currently on the path of recovery from its near collapse after it was riddled with unpaid loans from loose management by the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
He said the company has worked hard to reverse the negative balanced sheet to one of profitability and viability.
The Minister opined that the company has recovered about 80 percent of loans owed it by beneficiaries.
