The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church and one of the trustees of the National Cathedral Project Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong Manso has called for the arrest of former HIV ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah for impersonation.

According to him, Ms. Mensah is a criminal and an imposter who should be apprehended by the police and security agencies and questioned about who commissioned her to solicit funds in aid of the construction of the National Cathedral project.

The HIV/Aids ambassador in a video that has since gone viral was seen, bowl in hand, soliciting funds from passengers in a train abroad in aid of Ghana’s National Cathedral project. Her appeal for funds was laced with some amount of sarcasm when she said ‘’we want to build a cathedral in Ghana so that God will come and stay there and solve all our problems’’.

But the angry Dr. Frimpong Manso speaking on Accra based okay Fm and monitored by BestNewsGH.com said ‘’they have to arrest the girl because she is an imposter. She is not a member of the National Cathedral Board. We haven’t assigned her any such responsibility as raising funds for the project. She should be arrested. In the meantime, she is making a mockery of herself’’.

Rev. Dr. Frimpong Manso opined further that he was going to meet the rest of the trustees to discuss the next line of action, adding that the action of Ms. Mensah must be treated with the contempt it deserves.

He said the lady in question is a well-known controversial figure who must be examined mentally to ascertain her mental state and sanity.
