Inter-party Coalition for National Sovereignty to embark on Aagbe Wo demonstration against growing insecurity in Ghana

The Inter-Party Coalition for National Sovereignty encapsulating opposition political parties including the NDC, PNC, CPP, APC, DPP, UFP, EGLE Party, and GCPP among others has served notice that they will embark on a demonstration through principal streets of Accra to protest against they say is the growing insecurity in the country.

The group says they have followed due process and have sought permission from the police as required by law through the Public Order Act of 1994, Act 491 and are thus ready for the event slated for Thursday February 7, 2019.

A statement issued by the group and signed by its convener Bernard Mornah said the group has assured the police of its determination and commitment to conduct a very peaceful and non-violent demonstration.
